Pauline Boty (6 March 1938 - 1 July 1966) was a pioneer of British Pop art who worked from the late 1950s through to her untimely death in 1966 at the age of 27. The following is a brief, visual historical chronology of her life, comprising photographs, images of her art, and a bibliography. It supplements previous work on this important, though long ignored, female artist. Since the initial compilation of this blog a special Pauline Boty - Pop art pioneer website has been created with the support of the family. Reference should be made to that site for the most comprehensive collection of information relating to this important artist. Ann, June 1955. Watercolour and ink on paper.
